Attraction Information
Old Holly Farm is a family run, working dairy farm, and want to give kids (and adults alike) the chance to see, touch, smell, hear and taste the experience of a real working farm. But most importantly it's about having fun, eating well and learning through play!
Old Holly Farm has a fantastic indoor Playbarn, for hours of rough and tumble for the kids, but it also has its own cafe, serving homemade food, cakes and drinks all day, so adults can sit back and relax. The farm also has a standalone, family friendly cafe, with the same high quality menu choice for all ages and appetites. Alongside the cafe is the Farm Shop, with lots of toys and local produce, as well as Coolcow Ice cream, which is made on site using the farms own milk. You can even watch the Old Holly Farm cows being milked every day at 16:30 in the dairy viewing gallery.
The open farm still boasts free entry (except in December), so you can meet all the farms animals for free in a safe environment. Don't forget to wash your hands after meeting them all though!
There's also special events throughout the year, including Reindeer in December, crafts, party nights, donkey rides and more. You can even have your Birthday party there, for great fun and food.
Open 09:00 to 17:00 every day, all year round, plus ideally located on the A6 between Lancaster and Garstang.

Lovely afternoon for little children and adults 5 out of 5 stars
Went this afternoon with a 3 & 1 year old, lovely area to see the farm animals, able to hold the chicks and carve pumpkins for halloween. Went in indoor play area was very busy today most of the tables were full but little ones enjoyed it until she bumped her head on table staff were lovely and she got an ice cream out of it so happy child in the end. Well worth a visit.
AnonymousMagical 5 out of 5 stars
We have visited Father Christmas and have to say he was fabulous, looked the part, very professional and approachable.Great interaction with the grown ups,the location was spot on.Such a wonderful surprise to open the door and see him there in his magical grotto. His Elf HollyB was very attentive and professional also.At no point did we feel rushed and were invited to take as many pictures as we’d like.Could not critique, please keep this Father Christmas! Thank you for a lovely memory.
