Attraction Information
Let little imaginations take flight with a helping hand (or should that be wing?) from the team at North East Falconry. They’re a friendly brood of professionals who are on hand to introduce you to owls, eagles and more!
Visitors with birds on the brain could easily spend an entire afternoon cooing at the locals and marvelling at their beautiful feathers. With eagles, owls, hawks and falcons, there’s loads to learn about like different habits, diets and temperaments; in fact learning is essential here, especially if you take part falconry tuition sessions.
Everyone is welcome to attend their flying and training demonstrations which usually take place three times a day. They’re a real show of agility and strength, and audience members are invited to take part so they can get up close and personal with these winged wonders. Not only this but for the star spotters amongst you, the centre regularly supply trained birds for TV and film. So if you think you recognise that beak from somewhere, chances are you do!
