Set in a wealth of historic landscaping, Bodiam Castle is one of Britain's most picturesque ancient monuments. Enjoy a glimpse of medieval splendour at this 14th-century fantastic fortress with spiral staircases, battlements and the castle's original wooden portcullis: everything a castle is meant to be!

Things To Do
Amedieval castle will always have an abundance of fantastic family activities to get stuck into. From climbing the towering spiral staircases to catch a glimpse of the breathtaking views, and discovering the infamous murder holes where soldiers dropped all kinds of terrible things down those holes onto their attackers to try and get rid of them. Then travel around the castle to try and spot medieval graffiti dotted around, before heading outside to find the fish that swim around the moat.
