Millpond Adventure Playground is an extensive but free to use public playspace with a Castle theme, offering indoor and outdoor facilities, parents' seating, a picnic area, seasonal refreshment stands, sports opportunities and arts and crafts sessions led by staff rangers. Kids can also take part in their super wacky race days on the wicked trike track where they can bring your own wheels or use some of Millpond's!
Outside there's a huge play structure that offers the full range of classic equipment and some imaginative stuff besides! it all offers the opportunity to climb, swing, hang, jump, slide, spin, dig and bounce to your hearts' full content! It's an excellent place for families with children of varying ages so long as you've got enough supervising adults to split them up - there is something for everyone if you spread wide enough! A toddler area can be found next to the picnic area to keep an eye on those little ones too, so it's not just wandering and staring for smalls, though they like that too of course!
They also have a lively programme of daily events which include fun days, inflatable fun, specialised craft sessions, football sessions and much more too. A brilliant local resource and a charming HQ for the community at leisure!
