- Swimming Pools and Leisure Centres
The newly refurbished Llanelli Leisure Centre offers main and teaching swimming pools with gallery seating, but more importantly it's got a huge hydro waterslide that actually exits the pool building before returning for splashdown!
There are also 1 and 3 metre spring boards for diving alongside their 25m 6 lane main swim area: the only pol in Carmarthenshire to do so! The Nofio Sir Gar Diving Club also meets here, if the kids really take to it.
The fun features seem to be available in the splash pool during most sessions but do check ahead on their timetables to be sure that you can do what you want to when you get there!
Other features include a new fully equipped Fusion fitness club, a large multi-use sports hall, a full size astro turfed pitch, cafe, private dance studio and two classrooms. Why not take a look at their range of pre-bookable classes to help fill the school holidays? They cover many subjects from Ju-Jitsu and football skills to 'sub-aqua' and lifesaving, so there's something for everyone!

I visited here whilst staymy children first off i visited here whilst in bury port for a few days first off when we got there we stood around for 5 minutes with 3 women at reception just looking at us to busy talking to serve us the small pool was so cold my 10 week old baby was literally freezing so after paying nearly £15 to get in i had to leave after about half hour as she was crying from cold then in the changing rooms there were huge areas that they could have used but only 1 baby changing unit so I had to change the baby on a bench with gaps on as there were no changing rooms left the bin was full to the brim where i had to change my children and my boyfriend had no cubical to change in and felt very uncomfortable changing in front of young children so ended up having to change in a toilet full of urine on the website its described as fully refurbished and 2 lovely pools and a exciting slide to but it bluntly it was the worst experience ever ! Do not go hereJade01
