Children's Farms
Suitable for all ages
Venue type: Outdoor
Do your little ones love wildlife? Take them down to Gorgie City Farm where you’ll get to visit, pet and sometimes even cuddle the friendly animals.
Get a hands-on experience of taking care of farm animals at the community-led charity. Meet Mrs Murdoch the farm’s oldest tortoise, born in 1956, or see bearded dragon Becks protect his territory by performing push-ups. Don’t miss out on the regular workshops and tours available all year long, you never know what you’ll learn.
When you’ve met all the animals, let your little ones loose on the playpark while you take a stroll through the much-loved gardens where the farm produces a range of fruit and vegetables. You can then even head to the produce stall where these yummy fresh treats are available for you to take home.
