Attraction Information

Once in Farmer Palmers Farm Park, Straw Mountain greets you with slides and tunnels ideal for the adventurous and climbing child. Included in the undercover facilities is a fun-packed play barn with pedal tractors, plus you can also enjoy the Grazing Barn which is a great place to tuck into some delicious take-away food from the Hen House Restaurant.

The BIG animal barn is a must-do! There you can take part in a timetable of hand feeding and meeting the animals. There are also events running throughout the day, with knowledgeable staff on hand to oversee them, and the barn is set up to allow for social distancing, as well.

Outdoor facilities include the large sand play frame area with running water, pedal go karts, outside animal pens, peaceful woodland walk adjacent to the river and maize maze (July to September). The tractor-trailer ride is a bumpy experience and don't forget the Deer Feeding experience too!

  • Meet animals up-close
  • Enjoy plenty of outdoor play
  • Tractor-trailer rides available!

Fantastic for all the family! 5 out of 5 stars

We all love Farmer Palmers! It's great for little ones, with lots of indoor and outdoor play areas plus the animal barn with different seasonal activities (like bottle feeding lambs or meeting piglets). Whats brilliant is that there's lots of space but it's also very safe for children to run around, so adults can have a cheeky sit down! There's also tractor trips and pony rides for an additional fee, if you have time!

FAB DAY OUT! 5 out of 5 stars

We went to farmers parmers today with our 3 year old and 1 year old and had the best day. So much to do for little ones, food was freshly made and the choice of activities was great. The staff couldn't do enough to help, very friendly and can tell they have a passion for caring for the animals and delivering great customer service. I don't normally ever leave reviews but I wanted to give credit where credit due. Would highly recommend!
