Attraction Information

Adorable donkeys and a day on the beach? Yee-haw! Seaside rides have returned to Seaton Carew beach after a quarter of a century, with a helping hand from Blackberry Donkeys.

The cute and cuddly team are more than happy to carry your sprogs along the waterfront; they’re a gentle bunch but always enjoy a carrot or two to sweeten the deal. The beach itself is beautiful with classic seaside fun like sand dune jumping, walks along the water’s edge and everyone’s favourite: ice cream!

This would be a wonderful way to introduce kids to summer holidays before the days of iPads and Youtube. You’ll find the donkeys opposite the arcades on the seafront so be sure to squeeze in some games. Just remember, to ride kids must be 12 years or under and weigh below 8 stone.

  • Make a fuzzy friend on a donkey ride
  • Enjoy a day beside the sea
  • Have a crack at a few arcade games
