- Pottery Centres and Ceramic Cafes, Arts and Crafts
Colourful Chameleons is a friendly arts and crafts studio in Durham where you can paint your own pottery in a relaxed, cafe style environment.
There’s a wide range of blank pottery pieces to choose from, including figures, mugs, bowls, plates and money boxes. Armed with colourful paints and a selection of brushes, tools, stamps and stencils, you’ll have all you need to unleash your inner artist. You are free to paint whatever you like. The goal is to relax and just have fun!
You’ll be able to take your finished masterpiece home but not on the same day. Colourful Chameleons will fire and glaze it, so it’s nice, shiny and fully food-safe. In a few days, your glossy new item will be ready to be picked up and brought home.
Create a memento to keep forever! Print your tiny tot’s hand or footprints in paint or set them in clay. It’s a memory that lasts a lifetime.
