Only the bravest of hearts take on Cockermouth Sports Centres giant climbing wall. Do you have what it takes? Head down and take on the challenge or use some of the other facilities available! Try out a new activity on your fun family day out.
The centre offers loads of sports for you to try out to get your kids active. The junior gym sessions always have a qualified member of staff on hand to offer advice and make sure your budding athlete is training correctly. If you’re a little more into racket sports, you can hire out the badminton or table tennis courts with plenty of room in the sports hall to hit those big shots. There are even gymnastics sessions available to get your kids to flip, jump and twist their way into a sport! With all the sessions being so fun, getting kids active has never been so easy.
Now when you’ve gathered the courage head over to the climbing wall and see if you can make it all the way to the top. Fear not if you can’t, one of the instructors will be able to help you out and you’ll be darting up and down the wall in no time. Then head down pools famous family fun sessions, filled with floats, ball and sinking toys to get your whole family active together in the pool. Don’t worry though it’s all under the watchful eyes of the centre's lifeguards. You’re all set for a worry free, fun day out!
