Christmas at Mottisfont: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
Romsey, HampshireAttraction Information
Things To Do
As you arrive, you'll step into a warm and welcoming 1940s house at Christmas. With Christmas trees, traditional toys and delicate paper decorations before you. You'll then follow in the footsteps of wartime evacuees Edmund, Lucy, Susan and Peter through the famous wardrobe and into the kingdom of the White Witch – a landscape of frost, winter sparkle and magic. The final room celebrates the return of Christmas to Narnia with a 16ft tree adorned with shiny red, purple and gold baubles. And underneath, will be exquisite and beautifully wrapped presents.
Beautiful Artwork
Immerse yourself in all things Narnia as you head up to the art gallery to discover 17 watercolour illustrations by original artist Nina Baynes! All in celebration of her centenary year.
Festive Family Fun
As you travel through the rooms, your little ones will spot miniature wardrobes and they can seek out important items that will help defeat the White Witch!
Outside, you'll discover a family trail full of adventure, with life-sized wardrobes framing iconic scenes from the classic story and Narnia-inspired activities to get stuck into. Not forgetting all the fabulous photo opportunities you have, when you discover the Beaver's Cottage! Then find Father Christmas' sleigh and sit on one of the important thrones at Cair Paravel!
With so many 'wow' moments, you'll be making magical memories with the family that will last a lifetime.
