Castle Leslie Equestrian Centre
Castle Leslie Equestrian Centre is the perfect setting for outdoor activity and adventure. They welcome children of all abilities as long as you're over four! We offer expert tuition, gentle hacks, pony parlour, games and competitions! With such a lively programme of events you're bound to find something that suits your needs.
The Saddle Club is available in 2 age brackets: Junior Riders (5 to 10 years) and Senior Riders (11 to 15 years). Both come in 2 hour morning sessions and cover all the best of the fun with friends their own age to make too. Ideal if you're not one for the horse riding yourself, so they've got someone to talk to!
The full list of facilities for those in the know is pretty impressive! You've got 1,000 acres of private estate; cross-country jumps from knee high to knee knockers and it's built by Willis Bros. of Badminton Horse Trials fame! There's a 20 × 50 Dressage Arena, 30 × 20 Outdoor Manege, Sand Gallops and 50×30 metre indoor arena with indoor cross-country fences plus horse walker and even a horse simulator! Add in 21 miles of meandering bridleways, 56 stables, a mile long all weather gallop for the asking and horse box parking and you've got a day that will not make true horse lovers say neigh!
Booking required, year round availability with some seasonal restrictions.
Prices vary on age and services, for example though: Saddle Club €25 per morning.
