Attraction Information

Bruntingthorpe Aviation Museum provides you with a great opportunity to get up close to some amazing and iconic aircraft. Plus accompanied kids get in free!

The museum is staffed by knowledgeable and friendly volunteers, who will be only too happy to tell the kids about the work involved in keeping the fleet maintained.

The beautiful collection of jets includes 4 off Jet Provosts, a Super Guppy, a Sea Harrier and an ex Boscombe Down 2 seat Jaguar. You can also see a Hunter, Canberra, Comet, and 2 Lightinings set in a reconstructed Quick Reaction Shed.

2 Open Days are held every year, which give you a chance to see all the fleet in action as they are ‘exercised' to keep them in operational condition. The kids will love experiencing the incredible sight, smell, sounds, and power of these amazing aircraft as they make taxi runs along the runway. You may wish to bring earplugs as it can get pretty loud!
