Attraction Information
Atholl Estates Blair Castle Trekking Centre, also known as Blair Castle Trekking Centre, offers scenic and intriguing guided treks and hacks on every opening day throughout the spring/summer season (dates vary year to year). All abilities can be accommodated for, as routes are tailored for experienced, novice, and beginner riders.
The Trekking Centre can be found in the grounds of Blair Castle, next to the deer park, and is a great place to explore the heather covered hills of Highland Perthshire. Experience a river crossing, travel along forestry tracks, and spot local wildlife while on the back of a sure footed Highland Pony. There's something to see around every corner!
This is a fantastic way to explore the Atholl Estates, on a breed of pony whose bloodline can be traced back to the 1860s! The Trekking Centre was established in the 1950s, making it one of the oldest riding establishments in Scotland today!
