BHS approved Allendale Equestrian Centre offer a variety of well mannered mounts for lessons, which are available for all ages and held in their cool, all weather sand school! Staff are friendly and supportive and work to keep the kids comfortable as well as safe so your absolute beginners are just as safe here as the regulars!
Their popular 30.30 is a 30 minute lesson then a 30 minute hack, so a great combination for adventurous kids who will want to get going as soon as they have the basics down! Wait - is that all of them?
Scenic hacks are available off-road in the nearby countryside, on pleasing bridleways and along quiet country lanes, provided you've passed the necessary skill assessment. Plus there are Country Rides and staff led Walk Outs for families just getting started too, so that's worth looking into!
They also house a recognised Pony Club and most associated events here, so if your little one is horse mad this is the spot to look for Own A Pony Days, stable management tasters and other such things.
Allendale Rangers is a weekend riding club, perfect for pony lovers aged 7 to 17 years old, so they can ride and learn with their peers. A great way to make new friends!
When you book they're going to want your height and weight so if you haven't measured the kids for a while get the tape and scales out before you call!
