Attraction Information

Abbotsbury Children's Farm is a fantastic place to take the kids, with Play Barn set in an ancient Tithe barn and a chance to meet a host of friendly farm animals, many of which can be fed or stroked throughout the day.

There are loads of fun things to keep the kids entertained, from a great little indoor soft play area and cool bouncy castle (don't forget your socks!) to a chance to ride ponies, for which there is a small additional fee. Toy tractor racing is available all day too and new for last year they also added a Water Play zone and Radio Controlled Pirate Boats! Yarr!

Kids will love cuddling the cute guinea pigs and the chance to race and bottle feed lambs, and to see the ponies and alpaca having their lunch. In the afternoon, there is the chance to help groom the donkeys or ponies, and to feed the guinea pigs as well as have another cuddle! There may also be the opportunity to walk lambs or baby goats on the lead.

The farm is a great place for a birthday party and the price includes entrance to the whole farm with no time limit, a free pony ride for the birthday boy or girl, and one supervising adult per child can enter for free! It's as educational or as whimsical as you fancy, so it's great for all ages!

Nice area 3 out of 5 stars

In a great setting and the kids enjoyed it, but not sure why it's so expensive for adults at the farm. Swannery was impressive to see. I live by a similar place and they only charge for the children.

Lovely place to visit with children of all ages! 5 out of 5 stars

Went last week and had a great time with our 2 little children. They loved seeing all the animals and the soft play areas which were all well maintained and clean.
