Attraction Information
Arethusa Climbing Centre has been cleverly designed with routes for beginners that will get them familiar with climbing techniques and more demanding options to challenge more experienced climbers. Disabled groups and wheelchair users are very welcome!
The Outdoor Area comprises a 10m leading tower, 7m top rope area, chimney, flakes and cracks (ideal for novices!), a wheelchair abseil ram and a 10m traverse wall! In the Boulder Room there are no ropes needed to enjoy the slabs, overhang and large arch, the “Mouse House” Overhang training wall and the overhang Campus board! Plus the Lead Room is 10m high with an 8.5m arch linking the 2 walls! There are various features and, apparently, an interesting “nose!" Infant, Junior and Teenage Rock Clubs also run here too.
Also on site is the Arethusa Adventure Playground full of monkey bars, slides and rope climbs and floodlit with additional lights glistening in the trees, making it a great atmosphere for magical winter's evenings!
Plus their Low and High Ropes courses offer individual challenges at varying levels including sloping log, H Bars and Leap of Faith, Double Trapeze, Crate Stack Challenge and a Jacobs Ladder! Great for team building sessions promoting co-operation, confidence and trust.
Plus orienteering and archery!
