Terrible Sad experience

Had the most dreadful experience at Aldenham country club today...actually left my children in tears. So we paid £10 for the Monkey nets which my two young children had previously enjoyed and used in the past. Made our way to the area to find that the smaller net which is safer and easier to use was not in use. The larger net had no member of staff to assist and therefore for safety reasons we decided to return to reception and respectfully ask for a refund. Well the manager was called and never in my entire life have i experienced such horrendous customer service. She was rude showed no compassion or understandings and outright refused to refund our £10. She did however say that we could enter the farm area instead. We were clearly unhappy and as such my wife decided to leave a honest but fair review on Facebook whilst still in the farm. Within seconds of posting the review the manager marched up to us and instructed that we left the premises for no other reason than the review we had posted on Facebook. This was highly embarrassing not to mention the distress it caused our three young children. I hope no one else experiences this type of service here but reading some of the reviews i would highly suggest if you want a family day to remmeber to aboid Aldenham Country Park at all cost...

A relatively cheap and easy outing with kids. Stroll around the lake ( one hour ish all way round) , farm, fields. have picnic. Pony rides for the kids but I think these could be either cheaper or make the ride longer. A visit doesn't really depend on good weather but obviously is much better on a warm sunny day in Summer

Sadly this place has had little investment. It also fails to mention that you have to pay 4 or 5 pounds to leave the car park. It does feel like it tries to squeeze as much money out of you as possible. Everything costs a lot of money but nothing is done very well. It seems the longer time goes on the worst this place gets. The toilets are also disgustingly smelly and dirty. Everything in the farm shop is ridiculously overpriced. I would prefer to go to Cassiobury park in Watford and that is free parking.
