Fun Activities
Start your journey at the Jungle Falls log flume which takes inspiration from world-wonder, the Angkor Wat temple in Cambodia. It will plummet you down into the jungle where you’ll have to fend off monkeys and crocodiles before tumbling through the rapids.
After escaping the depths of the forest, fly down the Dragon’s Drop Megaslide. Then if the weather turns, head indoors to the vast, Aztec adventure play centre. It’s earned its title - Wild Thing - with tonnes of crazy activities including Montyzoomer’s Ball Firing Thunderdome. Phew!
Ever driven a tractor? This coin-operated attraction is perfect for little ones who want to get behind the wheel. And what's more? There are NO height restrictions! Hop on the Happy Tractors and whizz around Adventure Wonderland.
There are lots of rides to experience but the
Ghostly Gallon Ride is truly an unmissable
attraction. This outdoor ride is perfect for those who love the
traditional pirate ship ride. Kids will also go crazy for Shetland World! Shetland Pony rides = happy children,
am I right? Your youngsters will have a lovely time in the
Animal Cuddle Corner meeting and learning about each calming animal. This attraction is available at peak times i.e weekends &
school holidays.
Meet your favourite cartoon characters or get lost in the third largest hedge maze in the United Kingdom! The Alice in Wonderland Maze consists of 1.75 miles of winding paths and covers 1.25 acres of park! Play a game of hide and seek - there's 5200 bushes and 412 wood stakes to hide behind... Will you make it out?
Put your way into next week on the 9-hole golf course or book some tee-rific term time trips! Not only is Adventure Wonderland a fun family day out it's a great place to plan a birthday party for your little ones too.
Food & Drink
This family theme park offers a wide range of delicious snacks and hot & cold drinks at the Wild Thing Cafe. Open everyday from 10am, families can enjoy everything from light bites to full meals.
You can also stop off at the Flamingos Snack Shack and treat your kids to a cheeky ice cream (or two!). Located next to Wild Bill's Runaway Train, it's an ideal place to refuel after a wild day of theme park fun.
If you prefer to bring your own food with you, you'll be delighted to know there is lots of room for outdoor picnics. Adventure Wonderland advise you not to take up restaurant seating if you are bringing a packed lunch.
Accessibility
- Offer registered disabled customers a combination membership or park ticket, both of which are discounted and include a free carer admission. The carer can be an adult or a ‘registered’ young carer (proof required). The carer can be a different person on any visit and is not required to be named on a membership.
- Paths around the main attractions are tarmac and level.
- The restaurants, gift shops and the Happydrome Theatre are wheelchair/mobility scooter accessible.
- Disabled access toilet facilities are available.
- There are a limited number of manual wheelchairs available to hire on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis.
- Several rides are unsuitable for wheelchair users or customers with heart, neck, or back conditions, or expectant mothers.
- There are 3 low entry points in the Wild Thing! Indoor Play Centre. There is also low-level interactive play equipment too.
Travel & Parking for Visitors
Adventure Wonderland is just outside Bournemouth located opposite the Bournemouth Airport.
We are very easy to find by car. Located 10 minutes from Bournemouth and Christchurch on the B3073, opposite Bournemouth International Airport.
Easy to find from the /M3/M27/A31 from London and Portsmouth.
Parking
There is a large free car park with enough room for room for coach parking during organised, pre-booked group visits.
