Before i even start planning a day out, my first port of call is always: www.metcheck.com where you can get weather forcasts for the exact town you are going to. i've found it to be by far the most accurate weather forecasting site, it gives forecasts for 3 hour periods throughout the day
If I were you, I’d check the surrounding counties for family days out - every time I make it down to London, my little boy makes me drive down to Bekonscott Model Village in Bucks, it’s well worth the extra half an hour journey. It looks like that throughout the country - there are superb days out right on your doorstep for just a little bit more effort.
If you’re headed for an outdoor attraction, don’t forget to leave your wellies, raincoats and brolly in the back of the car (just in case). You never can tell with the British weather!
It’s handy to pack up a change of clothes for the kids (little accidents happen when you least expect them) and a packet of wet wipes can be a godsend!
Bring an emergency snack and drink for the kids.
Don’t forget your road map, even the best navigators take a wrong turn sometimes!
Later in the year we'll start sending out regional updates when new places to go open up, or special offers are made available. (We've had heaps of offers from all sorts of attractions, but no time!)
All you have to do, is fill in your details below, and we'll do our best to start generating special offers, hopefully some exclusive ones to people who have signed up - off you go then!!
