Loch Lomond Aquarium Journey through the magnificent Ocean Tunnel surrounded by tropical fish from around the world! There are loads of amazing live exhibits to explore including the new Stingray Discovery display, plus specific tank talks and feeding sessions for otters, seahorses, turtles and sharks!
Loch Lomond Bird Of Prey Centre A small centre attached to a garden centre close to Loch Lomond. Around 30 birds in total. Regular flying displays and some handling opportunities. They also run introductory days, hawk walks and hunting days.
Lamont City Farm A friendly domestic animal exposure experience featuring kune kunes, llamas and bearded dragons plus a unique and wonderful Kids' Club where over 8s can volunteer and be of genuine help to the farm!
North Lanarkshire Heritage Centre Museum with changing exhibitions, hand-on discovery, craft activities, family events and a garden play area.
David Livingstone Centre Child-friendly museum with hands-on exhibits and packed with items relating to David Livingstones explorations in Africa plus 20 acres of parkland and gardens. Closed Jan-Mar.
National Museum of Rural Life Working farm and museum where you can get hand-on finding out all about rural life with lots of seasonal activities too.
Scottish Football Museum Museum and Stadium Tour dedicated to the beautiful game located at Hampden park- the oldest continually used international ground in the world.

St Mungos Museum of Religious Life Welcoming those of all faiths including none, this friendly and enlightening museum takes an artistic gaze at the world's major religions and is a fascinating but casual educational experience for all ages to enjoy free of charge.
Scotland Street School Museum A must-see for fans of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, the architect of the building, and tells the story of education in Scotland from the late 19th century to the late 20th century.

Scottish Maritime Museum- Dumbarton Maritime museum with lots of hand-on activities and plenty to see including carving your own hull and imagining that you are a ship designer.
Scottish Maritime Museum- Irvine Museum with lots for families to do including building model boats, exploring a vessel and seeing others up close, and entering a workers tenement flat.
McLean Museum and Art Gallery The Museum features an Egyptian mummy cartonnage, a Samurai warrior, an Indian Tiger, a Nile crocodile, a Sloth Bear and other animals, also ship models. Free quiz sheets are available along with an art table with activity materials for children. Gift shop.
The Robert Burns Birthplace Museum In memory of the poet; the museum includes plenty of hands-on and interactive exhibits to keep the kids interested, plus a nice play area outside to reward them for paying attention!
Castle House Museum Well stocked museum on upper floors of one of Dunoon's most historic locations. Putting and tennis also available in the Castle Gardens with excellent views of the Firth of Clyde.
Hamilton Water Palace features flume and tyre slides, lazy river and under 8s' interactive splash play zone! There's also a 25m pool if they want to actually swim, plus lessons available if they're struggling.
