How We Lived Then The Museum has over 100,000 exhibits, collected over the past 50 years and now displayed on FOUR floors of authentic shops, room-settings and various displays covering 100 years of retail and social history from 1850 to 1950.
Bexhill On Sea
Bexhill Museum Main galleries include Costume and Motor Racing heritage as well as local archaeology and history, dinosaurs and fossils, natural history and geology, social history and cultures of other lands, local arts and crafts.

King Alfred Leisure Centre Lots of family fun sessions available in this pool, plus ride the large flume water slide, but only if you're over 8.
Saltdean Lido Outdoor swimming facility with a cascade in the centre and a diving board. With its tea terrace, sun deck, cafe and distinctive styling it's the only lido to be featured in the Design Museum in London. Classy!
The Pells Outdoor Swimming Pool Heated outdoor spring fed pool with kids' rafts and other fun elements, plus children's paddling pool, sunbathing terrace, and a cafe. Open daily May to September. Splash and Play Group for under 5s and their families every Tuesday morning.
Uckfield Leisure Centre A family oriented tropical leisure pool featuring a fairly epic flume style waterside, an enclosed family bubble pool and a teeny tiny elephant water slide for tots. Lovely!
Freedom Leisure On site there is a large swimming pool, soft play area that can accommodate children from birth to 11 years old. There is also a state of the art 8 lane bowling alley.
Super Splash Come down and have fun in the sun on the multiple slides, tilting buckets, interactive play panels, sprinkle showers, wet play structure, snake tunnels and loads more!

Now we have the easter and summer holidays fast approaching, we're trying to find the best days out and as many fun things to do with kids as possible, especially cheap and free family friendly places to visit this year - theme parks, waterparks and swimming pools, museums, indoor playcentres and softplay for toddlers, petting farms, wildlife parks and zoos, aquariums, horse riding, castles, steam railways, pottery making and ceramic cafes, roller and ice skating rinks, karting tracks, snowdomes, dry and indoor ski slopes, climbing walls, activity centres, outdoor play at the best local parks, ten pin bowling alleys and all the other best family tourist attractions, that you can visit at the weekend.
Also teachers may find the site useful for ideas for the best places to take their classes on school journeys with many historical and educational atractions listed
