Ridley Park Comprises a water play area, two big playgrounds well equipped for differing age groups, tennis courts, putting and bowling greens. Part of Sustrans National Cycle Route 1 too!
Hauxley Nature Reserve The reserve is closed until Summer 2016 while we build our new Wildlife Discovery Centre! The entire reserve is classed a construction site. There are Open Days on 13 September, 11 October, 8 November and 13 December, 10.30am to 3.30pm.

Kielder Art and Architecture A number of self guided trails including interactive art and architecture, through Kielder Forest and Water Park. Includes Minotaur Maze, Mirage Deck and Kielder column. Three main trails with free online guides to download.
Carlisle Park A beautiful park that is free to visit. Contains an aviary, an 11th century motte and bailey, an herb garden and woodland. Play areas, paddling pool plus a skate park. Free to visit.
Northumberlandia Explore the 4 miles of trails around the body of an enormous lady reclining on the countryside, sculpted from 1.5 million tonnes of ground! With visitor centre, cafe and friendly experts to chat with, this is a walk you simply won't forget. Unique!
Amble Links Beach Sand and shingle beach with nearby medieval monastery and the first Hogwarts. Home to the UKs largest colony of puffins.
Bamburgh Beach Miles of sandy beach looking up at Bamburgh Castle. Swimming, surfing and windsurfing permitted but no lifeguard cover. A walk to the south may reveal seals!
Beadnell Beach A magnificent golden sandy beach with watersports including, diving, sailing, surfing, windsurfing, sea canoeing and waterskiing. Good cycling and rambling routes.
