Irchester Country Park This former ironstone quarry has a wonderful children's play area as well as a network of long and short trails through 83 hectares of mixed woodland. Also home to the Quarryman's Rest Cafe, Jungle Parc UK and the Irchester Narrow Gauge Railway museum.
Toplodge Fineshade Wood is a popular family visitor attraction in the heart of the Rockingham Forest. With 2 great play areas, new Superworm Trail and a whole wood to explore, families can play, picnic, walk or cycle and then hit the cafe!
Salcey Forest It is home to the Tree Top Way, an amazing walkway in the canopy of the trees. It also has a play area, cycle trails, some amazing ancient trees, and lots of space to explore!

Corby Boating Lake The lake can boast a wide range of geese, ducks, water fowl and the resisdential swans. The recent environmental project has improved fishing stocks. There are also herons, gulls and kingfishers that visit the lake along with a host of woodland and garden birds.
