Langland Bay Beach A sandy beach with rocky outcrops, very popular for swimming, surfing and families, and offers summer lifeguard cover. Holds Blue Flag and Seaside Awards.
Oxwich Bay Beach Sandy beaches with good swimming and water sports opportunities, dunes to hide behind a nature reserve with elevated walkways and two castles nearby to explore. They'll sleep tonight!
Rhossili Bay Beach Sandy and beautiful, hard to reach but worth it! Tidal Island to explore if you time it right, surfing is popular as is swimming though there is no lifeguard cover. Recent Award Winner.
Poppit Sands Blue Flagged beach good for swimming, as well as buggying, land boarding, kite boarding and power kiting.
New Quay Harbour Blue Flagged waters good for swimming and water sports, for which there is a centre by the harbour, with summer lifeguard cover. Excellent location to spot dolphins.
Aberaeron South Beach Good swimming, surfing and canoeing territory, but not for sand castles or much swimming. Amenities are all in local town.
Mwnt Beach Green Flag Awarded sandy beach with safe swimming and cliff top walks. Take binoculars as you may often spot bottle-nosed dolphins, seals and porpoise.
Whitesands Bay With calm white sands and protective cover from Carn Llidi this could be a peaceful family beach trip… Or a really lively one as it's popular with windsurfers and canoeing plus it's one of the best surf sites in the country!
Newgale Sands Sandy with a heavy pebble back, this is a flexible beach with busy spots available for waterspouts and quiet coves waiting to be discovered! Amenities at either end and no dogs in the middle: simples!
