York Maze is a fun filled family day out, based around a crop of living, growing maize.
With over 20 rides, shows and attractions there is fun for all ages. York Maze opens throughout the summer holidays and Halloween half term. The maize maze is created from over 1.5 million maize plants and covering an area larger than fifteen Wembley football pitches, York Maze is one of the largest mazes in the world! With a different design every year our maze is ready to baffle visitors both old and new. Find your way around the maze, collect the clues to solve the puzzle and you may win a prize!
Then relax and enjoy our great cafe and bbq while the kids enjoy all the activities we have on offer. We have huge play areas to keep the kids busy all day long, water wars is a great way to cool down on a hot summers day!
Don't forget the unmissable Crowmania ride for some crazy mazy fun! The Ivy store gift shop has a great range of gifts and souvenirs for all. Don't forget our amazing Halloween festival during the half term break, there's fun for the little kids in the daytime and scares for the grown ups at night. The season ends with the York Maze firework spectacular each year.
Just ten minutes from the city centre and set in open countryside, York Maze is an unmissable day out for all the family!

We do strongly suggest you contact York Maze before you set off on your family day out, just to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices, as there is nothing worse than disappointed kids in the back of your car after a long journey.
