Yaraks Bird of Prey

Yarak’s Bird of Prey is a rural centre which houses approximately 35 birds.
This may be a small number but owners believe that this allows them to give excellent care to all of them. This is particularly important for the rescue birds there and the facilities clearly show the emphasis that is placed on their welfare.
There are no fixed displays but they have birds flying throughout the day except during lunchtime.
Hands On and Experience Days are available all year round for those who would like to handle or fly the Hawks, Eagles, Owls and Falcons. This is a great opportunity to get up close and personal with the stunning birds and to learn more about them from the friendly and knowledgeable staff
If you don’t have the extra money for the experiences, you can still watch them being held for others.
The attraction is weather dependant so please contact to check that birds are being flown if the weather is wet or windy.

It may be worth checking out Yaraks Bird of Prey's website to see if there are any special events or seasonal fun things to do that may be going on during the day.
We do strongly suggest you contact Yaraks Bird of Prey before you set off on your family day out, just to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices, as there is nothing worse than disappointed kids in the back of your car after a long journey.
