About Woolacombe Riding Stables
BHS approved Woolacombe Riding Stables are a British Horse Society and Pony Club approved equestrian centre offering lessons for over 4s. They're great with absolute beginners so there's nothing to fear, and should they take to it well and stick with the training pupils are encouraged to complete their Pony Club and British Horse Society achievement certificates, in both stable management and horse riding. This then can be the starting point for a lifelong interest or even a career!
Facilities here include a proper lunging arena and a full size 20m x 40m outdoor arena ideal for instructing in flat work and jumping. Obviously the kids start off very simply but it's good to know the features are available for when they start to develop the necessary skills to use them!
And because of it's charming locale there's sandy beach and escorted dune hacking available plus 200 acres of immediate countryside too! These guys are the only ones permitted by Parkin Estates to offer horse riding on Woolacombe Beach, so the choice is clear!
