Wistlandpound

Wistlandpound Reservoir has been carefully developed into a countryside site with wheelchair and pushchair accessible trails, activity equipment and sensory stimulating interpretation facilities. These enable people of all abilities to discover and enjoy Wistlandpound. Wistlandpound Discovery Centre in it's listed building has been tastefully restored into a fully accessible visitor centre and education space where more can be learnt about Wistlandpound's heritage and wildlife. Calvert Trust Exmoor nearby provides challenging outdoor activities for people with disabilities to enjoy, together with their friends and family. All activities are on site, they have their own riding stables and indoor and outdoor climbing walls. They also offer sailing, canoeing, kayaking, horse riding, carriage driving, archery and a zip wire. Specialist equipment and highly qualified instructors make activities accessible for all ages and all abilities.
