Westmorland Park consists of grassy areas, shrub beds and mature parkland trees.

Facilities include a children's play area, basketball court, tennis courts, football pitches, baseball diamond and sports pavilion which may be hired for social events and includes changing rooms (including disabled facilities) a kitchen, first aid room and hall.

Adjacent to the park is Hayley Green Wood Local Nature Reserve which provides an invaluable conservation resource and wildlife habitat.

Picnic Benches are located throughout Westmorland Park.

On Foot – The main entrance into Westmorland Park is from Westmorland Drive. Other pedestrian access routes are from Devon Chase, Cornwall Close, Edmunds Lane and Forest Way. By Cycle – Edmunds Lane is a dedicated pedestrian/ cycleway route linking County Lane and Forest Road via Westmorland Park. By Bus – Beeline services 162 & 163 serve Tesco's Superstore on County Lane. Edmunds Lane links County Lane with the park. Beeline bus 192 runs along Forest Road. For further bus information telephone 01344 424938 Monday to Friday between 0900 – 1700 or Saturday 0900 – 1300. By Car – The main car park is accessed via the main entrance along Westmorland Drive. There are two disabled persons parking bays within the car park.
