Stanhope Open Air Swimming Pool is the only heated open air swimming pool in County Durham.
The water is heated to a tropical 80+degrees Fahrenheit nearly 30 degrees centigrade, making it an enjoyable experience, come rain or shine!
The springboard in the deep end allows swimmers to show off their prowess by diving in and for younger children learning to be comfortable and happy in water, there is a small, warm, toddler pool.
