Attraction Information
The great thing about the Waterfowl Sanctuary and Children’s Farm is how close you can get to unbearably cute little animals, however the bad thing is that your children may decide that they now want one as a pet!
If you have a family of animal lovers then a visit to this farm is going to be a sure hit! There’s a cuddling corner where children can scoop up a baby bunny in each hand or cradle a chick – both of which are available to purchase so go prepared to tackle that question! There are lots of other small animals to see from goats to donkeys, hens and ducks.
The sanctuary was established in 1989 to house and protect sick, injured and neglected animals, many of which live on the land is as natural an environment as possible. See what you can spot as you look around the meadowland, hedgerows and ponds.
