The Victoria Gallery & Museum is a family friendly day out offering i - spy trails around the building and interactive exhibits.

Dress up as a Victorian, design your own tile and hear what a volcano sounds like!

The Victoria Gallery and Museum runs free family Saturdays once a month – fun arts and crafts workshops for all the family.

"i'm hungry"

The Waterhouse Café serves fresh, homemade dishes in stunning surroundings.

Produce is fresh, seasonal and locally sourced as much as possible. Kids’ lunchboxes are available and include sandwich, carton of fair trade fruit juice, Ann Forshaw’s bio yoghurt and a creepy crawly toy.

Gluten free and vegetarian options available. Healthy choices include our Rainbow Superfood Salad and homemade soups.

"Can I have one of those?"

The VG&M shop offers books and giftware connected with the collections; includes stationary, postcards and pocket money gifts especially for children.

"i need a wee"

Baby changing facilities and disabled toilet available.

Baby food and milk can be warmed in the cafe.

"are we there yet?"

The VG&M is situated at the top of Brownlow Hill in the Victoria Building, with its distinctive red-brick and clock tower. It is a short walk from the city centre.

By rail: The nearest mainline station is Liverpool Lime Street. The nearest local station is Liverpool Central short walk from the city centre.

By bus: From the city centre, buses 14 and 79 run approximately every 5 minutes. They leave the Adelphi Hotel and stop outside the VG&M.

By road: From the M62, at the end of the motorway continue straight ahead onto Edge Lane (A5080 and A5047) and follow the signs for Liverpool city centre and the University.
