Ulster Museum at Botanic Gardens is a fantastic museum that is open throughout the year, and free to visit, making it a great all weather attraction that won’t break the bank!
Do you know what mummies looked like, or how big dinosaurs were? Perhaps you have always wanted to see real treasure or a modern masterpiece? Well now you can! A souvenir edition explorer map (and stickers) are available for free from the Welcome Area to help you and the kids get the most out of your visit.
With fascinating ancient relics to hands on activities, the museum offers something for everyone, from the simply curious to the enthusiast.
Ulster Museum, as Northern Ireland’s treasure house of the past and present, is home to a rich collection of art, history and natural sciences. There are a number of permanent displays to explore, plus a lively programme of changing exhibitions and events throughout the year.
The Botanic Gardens are adjacent, open daily, and welcome well behaved youngsters.
