Treasure Trails Staffordshire

"what are we doing today?"

Stafford Mystery Trail is brilliant for all ages.

The town is easily reached via the M6 and has a main line railway station very close to the town centre. There is plenty of parking and lots of other things to do in the town. Why not visit the nearby castle as well – it’s free!

There is a fantastic new play area halfway round the Trail. It makes a great place to take a break and the adults can relax by the river while the young ones have fun.

As the Trail takes in the town centre there are loads of places to eat, while the riverside park is perfect for a picnic or an ice cream.

Toilets can be found at a number of places along the Trail, ensuring that everyone can have a great time.

"i'm hungry"

A wide range of restaurants, takeaways and fast food outlets can be found along the Trail, along with ice cream vendors. There is a brilliant picnic area en route.

"are we there yet?"

Stafford lies only a couple of miles east of the M6, some 18 miles north of Birmingham and 45 miles south of Manchester. There is also a railway station on the West Coast Main Line route..

...got any top tips?

Trails take around two hours to complete and can be downloaded and printed at home or ordered as a booklet to be posted from the Treasure Trails website. Going on holiday? Why not order a couple of Trails before you go? You'll have lots of fun and will see a lot more of the local area.
