Thurstaston Nature Reserve

Thurstaston Common Nature Reserve has almost 250 acres to explore, filled with a fantastic variety of habitats that is home to plenty of wildlife. It is open throughout the year and free to visit, making it a great location for some free family fun.

The reserve is a mix of semi natural and planted woodland, open parkland, and heathland, providing a wide range of wildlife habitats with its coniferous and deciduous trees, fresh water and grass meadow. If you are blessed with children interested in birds, butterflies and hide and seek then bless yourselves further with a sunny afternoon here and enjoy some glorious views and rare spottings.
