The National Football Museum
The National Football Museum is housed within the stands of Deepdale Stadium and is divided into two halves. The First Half Gallery explores the origins of the game and its history from the 19th Century to the present day. The Second Half Gallery is an interactive gallery where you can take an active part in learning more about football. The Museum has a range of trails and activities suitable for families and younger children which help you to discover more about the Museum's collections. These include a family quiz, and the Barnaby Bear Football Trail, aimed at children between 4 and 7 years old. Children under 7 will also love the 'Footy Fun Zone' play area. This is a multi-sensory play area for the Museum's younger visitors which includes, art materials, toys and games, and dressing up equipment.
The Museum is also home to 'Goalstriker' – the world's first interactive penalty shoot-out experience, a firm favourite with all our visitors!
There is an on site coffee shop serving tea, coffee, cold drinks and light snacks.
