The Little Turnberry Farm
At The Little Turnberry Farm
Set in over 800 acres, the farm at Turnberry features a wide range of animals.
Guests are welcome to come and see the sheep, lambs, miniature donkeys, Shetland ponies, horse paddocks, golden pheasants, Indian Runner ducks, turkeys, farm-yard hens and Pygmy goats.
The Turnberry spring fed loch also has a variety of ducks and swans and attracts a lot of other wildlife. The farm employs both traditional and modern agricultural techniques and can be visited daily. There is also a picnic area next to the springfed loch which families are welcome to use.
They also host a range of sessions and experiences for kids from Wee Farmer Days where they follow someone around and do literally everything, to pony rides and owl lessons. Many of the sessions they do are covered by fully qualified and checked child minders, so if they are old enough you may leave them to it for a few hours if you wish.
If you've had fun on your family day out to The Little Turnberry Farm, tell us about it your visit, so other people will know it's a great place to go as well.
