About The Forbidden Corner
The Forbidden Corner is a unique labyrinth of tunnels, chambers, follies and surprises created within a four acre garden in the heart of Tupgill Park and the Yorkshire Dales
The temple of the underworld, the eye of the needle, a huge pyramid made of translucent glass, paths and passages that lead nowhere, extraordinary statues – at every turn there are decisions to make and tricks to avoid.
This is a day out with a difference which will challenge and delight adults and children of all ages.

Tupgill Park Estate
The Forbidden Corner is situated in Tupgill Park and is well worth a visit in its own right. Visit the fascinating Fish Temple and enjoy our Herb Garden. When you want a break, check out The Corner Café for a bite to eat. For a longer break at Tupgill Park please check out our self-catering accommodation. The Saddle Room Restaurant is situated next door to The Forbidden Corner.

The Forbidden Corner hosts fabulous family events throughout the year. Take part in our Easter dragon egg hunt, visit the spooky gardens over Halloween or visit Santa in his woodland grotto.
