About

The Canterbury Tales Visitor Attraction
The Canterbury Tales is an award winning attraction based in the centre of Canterbury that brings to life 5 of Geoffrey Chaucer's best loved stories with tales of love, romance, jealousy and trickery, vividly recreated with all the fun and excitement of Chaucer's original tales.
It provides an excellent introduction to the historic Cathedral City and its famous literary connection as well as being a hugely entertaining and enjoyable experience for the whole family.
Immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and smells of a bygone era in this fantastic recreation of medieval life, as you are taken on an adventure with costumed guides at the beginning and end of your journey, plus an audio guide to aid you as you join Geoffrey Chaucer and his colourful band of pilgrims as they embark on a journey from The Tabard Inn in London to the shrine of St Thomas Becket in Canterbury Cathedral.

A special children’s commentary and the opportunity to dress up in medieval costume is also available.
A visit to Canterbury isn’t complete without experiencing Chaucer’s famous tales of medieval misadventure at our great all weather attraction.
