Surrey Hills Llamas
The gentle and friendly creatures at Surrey Hills Llamas will carry your picnic as you lead them through the spectacular North Downs from the high points of which you can see as far as the English Channel.
Llamas are affectionate, intelligent and alert and will draw your attention to things you would never normally notice. They're well proven to be a therapeutic sort of company for humans so are excellent for children with social disorders, though it's best to let them know this in advance so that they can match your needs to your ideal companion. They are that good!
There are lots of different trip types to take, with varying budgets, so check out their site for full information. They include the English Picnic trek, the Summer Evening trek, the WInter morning trek and believe it or not the luxury Champagne picnic trek! You can even get specifically well sheltered routes for when the weather is not so good, so there's no need to worry about mild attacks of British Summer! Bookings will not be taken for under 8s and it's usually 1 llama between 2 people, be warned! If you want to make a good impression with your companion for the day, apparently you can turn up with a few carrots, apples and Brussels sprouts and you'll have a friend for life! And speaking of friends of man if you want to bring the family hound along for the walk then so long as they're a friendly, non-barky sort then they are welcome too! Awww.
If you've had fun on your family day out to Surrey Hills Llamas, tell us about it your visit, so other people will know it's a great place to go as well.
It may be worth checking out Surrey Hills Llamas's website to see if there are any special events or seasonal fun things to do that may be going on during the day.
