Sunderland Aquatic Centre is a superb location for diving, with facilities including:

2 x 1m Spring boards; 1 x 1m Platform; 2 x 3m Spring boards; 1 x 3m diving platform (wide enough for synchro-diving); 1 x 5m diving platform (wide enough for synchro-diving); movable floor and a high tech surface agitation facility!

On top of that there are swimming and teaching pools, the swimming pool being a rare 50m long! The pool has something for everyone, with lanes for swimming, aquafit classes, learn to swim courses for all ages and fun float sessions.

Those aged 16 and under and over 60 can swim for free during designated free sessions with a valid Sunderland City Council 'Life Card' - contact by telephone for details.
