Stratford upon Avon is a 10 minute drive from junction 15 of the M40. When leaving the M40 take the A46 towards Stratford. From the South (Oxford) use A3400 towards Shipston then on to Stratford upon Avon. Stratford train station is an easy 10-15 minute walk from the Swan fountain. Walk meeting place is very close to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, on Waterside by the Swan fountain, opposite Sheep Street, only 2 mins walk from Bridge Street (main shopping street).
The Stratford Town Walk is a gentle walk around the town and suitable for everyone. However, please come prepared for the weather and if possible, bring your camera! Wheelchair/buggy friendly. Dogs are welcome, although not allowed in the church. The Town Walk is wheelchair friendly. Shopmobility buggies are available to hire (free of charge) at Bridgefoot multi-storey car park.
