Stratford Armouries is a family orientated attraction located on the outskirts of the historic town of Stratford-upon-Avon.

Comprising of a curriculum-linked museum, restaurant, indoor play barn and outdoor play fort the Armouries is the perfect family day out.

Our centrepiece a life sized armoured Indian elephant will amaze and intrigue the whole family, as will the four galleries full of ornate artefacts and paintings.Get up cloase and personal with arms and armour from around the world.

After exploring the galleries you can relax with a coffee and something to eat while your children blow off some steam in our indoor play barn. The playbarn is specifically designed so that parents are able to see their children at all times and is fitted with electronically controlled safety doors throughout.

Stratford Armouries also incorporates a fantastic 100 seat restaurant and healthy eating caf£ serving a range of fantastic adult and children's dishes.

Stratford Armouries has a licensed restaurant and bar, a caf£-bar selling light meals for children and adults, an outside terrace and picnic tables. Teas, coffees and soft drinks are available at all times.

Stratford Armouries is 2 miles from Stratford on Avon on the A3400 to Birmingham. 4 miles from Junction 15 M40, take A46 towards Evesham, then A3400. Tourist signed. From Stratford centre the X20 bus passes near to the Armouries. Nearest railway station is Wilmcote (2 miles).
