Strand Leisure Pool
Gillingham, KentAbout Strand Leisure Pool
At Strand Leisure Pool and Park you can ride the historic miniature railway around the park - a great way to start so you can see what's on offer and get your bearings!
For the Swimmers you're got a sparkling 25m outdoor leisure pool with a children's paddling pool on the side, plus a cool 300m lazy river to float down and slides to move along considerably faster! Try out your sea legs with the Water Zorbing or hire a beach hut, kick it back and just watch, depending on how much energy you've got today!
When it comes to the Golf they're talking a totally family friendly par three course, with 9 holes all decked out in a Wild West theme with a variety of comedic and maddening obstacles to take on as you head to the hole!
There's also a FootGolf course here, allowing you to try the latest craze in park sports: a cool combo of the 2 disciplines, you chip a football along a fairway and into an oversized cup! Sounds easy? They'll see...
Other attractions include a riverside children's play areas and sandpit, great for small or quiet kids to calm down a bit from the rest and just play for a while. For the slightly bigger jobs you've got Giant Inflatables including a Mega Slide and bouncy castle, plus tennis, netball, football and basketball courts!
When your break for lunch there's the picnic area but also a cafe so hot or cold you've got it covered, and you can use the change you saved on the free car parking, can't you!
