"Can I have one of those?"

"are we there yet?"

...got any top tips?

Why not visit earlier in the morning 9.30am to 11am, or later 5pm to 6pm, on you way out or on your way home, a good place to break the journey and miss the peak times.

Visitor Reviews

I was surprised when our 6 year old annouced he wanted to "go there" as we passed Stonehenge on our way on holiday so we stopped on our way back and thoroughly enjoyed it! The pre-recorded tours provided as part of your enterance fee give a fasinating insight into this ancient monument which helps bring it to life. English Heritage have gone to alot of trouble and effort to get the balance between conserving what is there and allowing visitors to experience the magic of the site just about right. probably more of an "add on" or "journey breaker" if you have children but a good couple of hours out none the less.
