St Ives Treasure Trail

"what are we doing today?"

Treasure Trails are a fantastic way to explore a new town or village whilst enjoying a fun walk in the fresh air.

Follow the Trail, Solve the Clues, See the Sights.

Children love competing to solve the clues and don’t even realise that they are learning about the area and getting some fresh air and exercise!

The answers to all the clues are located on existing monuments, buildings and structures.

Some are easy to find, others are a little bit trickier! You can choose to be a detective, go on a treasure hunt or crack the code in a spy mission.

After you have completed the Trail, you can enter your answer online to be in with a chance of winning a cash prize.

The St. Ives Treasure Trail takes approximately 2 hours to complete and is suitable for light pushchairs.

Refreshments
There are many restaurants, cafes and pubs along the Trail route giving you lots of choice for eating and drinking.

Toilets
There are public toilets along the route, with baby changing facilities.

Parking
The Trail starts at the St. Ives Visitors Information Centre at the Guildhall. Follow the signs for the main car parks or use the park and ride at Lelant Saltings.

...got any top tips?

Treasure Trails take around two hours to complete and can be ordered from the Treasure Trails website for either download and printing at home or posted as a booklet. Going on holiday? Why not order a couple of Trails before you go? You’ll have lots of fun and will see a lot more of the local area. Contact Treasure Trails for further information on Treasure Hunt parties and group events. The route for the St. Ives Trail is regrettably not suitable for wheelchairs.
