The Sovereign Centre Kids Activities

The Sovereign Centre is an all weather leisure centre with wet and dry facilities, including: fun pool with waves and flume, 25m gala pool, diving pool, training pool, gym, workout studio, sports hall with badminton courts, sauna and steam room and cafe.

There are activities for children throughout the year with extra activities during the school holidays.

Junior Gym
A supervised gym session with a qualified instructor, for 11-15 year olds every Monday 6-7pm, Thursday 4-5pm, Sunday 11.15-12.15, and for 8-11 year olds Sunday 12.15-13.15.

H20 Party
Disco, flume races, pool volleyball and dance competitions, big waves, prizes to be won and a whole lot of fun! £3.50 residents £4.00 non residents. Every Friday night all year round! 17:00-18:45 for 8-11 years and 19:00-20:30 for all ages.

Swimming Lessons
Swimming lessons are available for children and adults from 6 months+ and cater for all abilities, from beginners to experienced swimmers looking to improve their stroke, technique and stamina.
Lessons run 50 weeks of the year and certificates are awarded to pupils at the end of every level. Lessons can be paid by the course or children and adults can enjoy the extra benefits swimming lesson membership.

Active Kidz Holiday Club
Fun, fully supervised sessions for 8-12 year olds, run during the Half Term, Easter and Summer holidays at the Sovereign Centre. Sessions include warm up games, multi sports, games and competitions, inflatable pirate ship and swimming in the Fun Pool. Appropriate clothing required and early booking is recommended.

Cafe available serving hot meals, sandwiches, snacks, drinks and ice creams.

There are a variety of healthy food options including sandwiches and jacket potatoes. Food can be made up fresh to suit special dietary requirements.

A variety of armbands, goggles, swimming costumes and inflatables are available to purchase at the centre.

Toilets including disabled and baby changing facilities are available.

Milk warming available.

The Sovereign Centre is located adjacent to princes park off the A259 in Eastbourne. The following stagecoach buses stop very close to the centre: 99, 54 and Eastbourne Loop.

Lockers are available, they take a £1 coin which is refunded after use. The Centre is buggy friendly. Wheelchair access is available to all areas of the centre except the workout studio.
