About Somerset and Dorset Railway Trust
The Museum contains nostalgic relics from the former Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway which used to run from Bath to Bournemouth, with all finally closing in 1966.
It's a charmingly atmospheric facility with masses of railway related exhibits and artefacts and a huge collection of rolling stock and steam locomotives from throughout the years.
You can learn about the quirky old station names of bygone days and explore the evocative galleries filled with name-boards, lamps, tools, signalling equipment, tickets, photographs, handbills and more besides.
