About Shipley Pool
Shipley Pool, as the district's flagship pool, hosts a huge range of swimming lessons and has recently been recognised by the Amateur Swimming Association as a centre of world class diving excellence! It's a brilliant place to take the kids who've progressed past doggy paddle and are hankering for a proper swim experience, but without the distraction of kiddie features.
It has a 25m x 13m double shallow ended main pool; a diving pool with 2 high boards and 2 springboards and a teaching pool. There is of course the changing villages too with family cubicles; spectator accommodation for all 3 pools; and should you get the opportunity to enjoy either, a sauna and cafe too! There is ramped access throughout and a customer lift.
There are a nice variety of session types available to ensure you're swimming with the right crowd! The list includes: Parents And Under 8s, Fun Splash, Aqua Blast, Public Diving, Adult Swim, Lane Swim, Swim For All, GP Referral Swim, Ladies Only, Aqua Pulse, Bradford Aquatics Lessons and Early Bird sessions. So be sure to check the timetables when you're planning and head for the right one!

Daily opening but public diving may be restricted at certain times, best to call ahead if that's what they're looking forward to.
